Season Review and Future Focus.

Partizan finished the season without the ABA Liga title after Yiannis Sfeiropoulos and Red Stars swept the black and whites in the finals. Now, everyone at the Belgrade club is turning their attention to the day ahead. The first goal is to build a roster that will allow the team to look competitive, and Zeljko Obradovic has already cast his nets in Europe. According to journalist Arel Ginsber, both Partizan and Virtus will offer a contract to Chris Jones, who has excelled in the Valencia shirt for the last two years.

Jones is 31 years old (1.88m tall), and in Europe, he first played in the Belgian league before joining Bursaspor in 2019. He then played for Maccabi and Asvel. The American arrived in Valencia in the summer of 2022, and this season in the EuroLeague, he averaged 12.7 points, 4.2 assists, and 2.1 rebounds per game.

Jones is under contract until next summer, but there is a release clause. The Serbians are willing to pay it in order to do their coach a favor and bring a player with credentials like Jones to the team!
