Vanja Marinkovic Returns to Partizan After Five Years.

Vanja Marinkovic is set to return to his homeland and the team where he began his career. Partizan has announced the signing of the 27-year-old Serbian forward.

Marinkovic’s Return.

After a five-year stint abroad, Marinkovic is coming back to Partizan, the club where he launched his professional basketball journey. The news was confirmed by Zeljko Obradovic’s team following Marinkovic’s release from Baskonia.

Career Highlights.

Marinkovic played for Partizan from 2013, starting at the age of 16, until 2019. He then moved to Spain, playing for Valencia (2019-21) and Baskonia (2021-24). During his time abroad, he became a world runner-up with Serbia at the 2023 World Cup.

Performance Stats.

In the recent EuroLeague season, Marinkovic averaged 11 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game, with an average playing time of 25’49” in 37 games.
