Valencia: Pangos is Injured Again and Misses the Rest of the Season.

Kevin Pangos Out for the Season.

Valencia has announced that Kevin Pangos is out for the rest of the season with a hamstring injury.

Details of Pangos’ Injury.

Kevin Pangos injured his hamstring (third degree fracture) in the last game of the Liga Endesa (ACB) regular season against Andorra. Thus, the season ended in the most disappointing way for Pangos.

Pangos’ Performance This Season.

The 31-year-old guard, after his move from Armani, played in 12 Euroleague games for Valencia, averaging 1.9 points and 2.3 assists per EuroLeague game.

In the ACB, his performance was slightly improved, posting 3.9 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 2.8 assists for a 3.7 PIR.

Impact of Pangos’ Absence.

The injury to Kevin Pangos is a significant blow to Valencia’s plans for the remainder of the season. His experience and playmaking abilities were crucial for the team, and his absence will be deeply felt as Valencia navigates the challenges ahead without one of their key players. The team will need to find ways to compensate for the loss and maintain their competitive edge in domestic competition, as they are not participating in the EuroLeague playoffs.
