Red Star Targets Codi Miller-McIntyre and Tornike Shengelia.

Red Star is actively promoting its next transfer moves, with reports indicating that the Serbian club has already agreed terms with Baskonia’s Codi Miller-McIntyre and is preparing a surprise move for Virtus Bologna’s Tornike Shengelia. According to a publication from Republika, Panathinaikos and Barcelona are also interested in the Georgian forward.

Recent Additions and Transfer Plans

After announcing the signings of Isaiah Canaan, Uros Plavsic, the return of Nikola Kalinic, and the acquisition of Mike Daum, Red Star is gearing up for two significant moves in Belgrade.

Codi Miller-McIntyre.

One of the imminent transfers involves Codi Miller-McIntyre, who is reportedly close to joining Red Star. The American guard had an impressive individual season with Baskonia, and now only the official announcement remains.

Tornike Shengelia.

The second potential addition is Tornike Shengelia, who is currently negotiating with Virtus Bologna. Shengelia has received multiple proposals, and his future with Virtus is uncertain. Red Star, under the leadership of coach Giannis Sfairopoulos, is considered the favorite to acquire Shengelia.

Interest from Other Clubs.

  • Panathinaikos: The Greek club had almost signed Shengelia a year ago before he decided to stay with Virtus and Panathinaikos acquired Juancho Hernangomez instead.
  • Barcelona: The Catalan club is also showing strong interest in Shengelia, adding to the competition for his signature.
