Real Madrid Faces New Setback: Rudy Fernandez Injured Against Gran Canaria.

After the loss of Gabriel Deck, Olympiakos’ opponent in the semi-final of the Euroleague Final Four, also saw Rudy Fernandez injured. The experienced Spaniard hit his hand in the Spanish Playoffs match against Gran Canaria.

In Madrid, while they still haven’t gotten over the shock caused by the injury of Gabriel Deck and his loss for the rest of the season and therefore for the Final Four of the Euroleague, Real Madrid is now particularly stressed. During Game 1 of the Liga Endesa Playoffs, against Gran Canaria, Rudy Fernandez, shortly after entering the match, left with severe pain.

Rudy Fernandez is indeed in the twilight of his career; nevertheless, his active presence in the team offers quality, inspiration, and the necessary experience, especially in Final Four situations.

In the current season, he has played in 22 games in the top interclub competition and has recorded in the statistics 3.6 points with 37.1% on three-pointers, 2 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 16’04” of playing time.
