Paris Eyeing Aleksa Avramović from Partizan.

Transferring its action to the EuroLeague as EuroCup champion, Paris is actively seeking to upgrade its roster. According to a Serbian publication, the team is considering the prospect of acquiring Aleksa Avramović from Partizan.

Since Partizan is undergoing continuous roster reshuffles, not only ending contracts but also reconsidering committed players, Paris has set its sights on Belgrade.

Partizan’s Recent Departures.

Partizan has seen the departure of several key players:

  • Kevin Punter
  • Zach LeDay
  • PJ Dozier
  • James Nunnally

Alen Smailagić is also expected to leave, among others. Amid these changes, the Parisians have their eyes on Aleksa Avramović.

Aleksa Avramović’s Situation.

According to a report by Serbian Meridian Sports, the 29-year-old international guard is uncertain to continue with the “black and white” despite his contract running until next summer.

In a disappointing year for Partizan, Avramović recorded 10.2 points per game in less than 19 minutes of play (18’36”). Should coach Zeljko Obradovic decide Avramović is not part of his plans, Paris is poised to move with momentum.

Paris’s EuroLeague Ambitions.

As winners of the EuroCup, the French team will participate in the EuroLeague next season, replacing Valencia in the top club competition. Paris is defined by the competitive presence of the diminutive but dynamic American guard TJ Shorts, but they intend to add another regional organizer to assist him.

In their strategy, Aleksa Avramović is seen as the ideal candidate.
