Panathinaikos defeated Real Madrid and ascended to the throne of the Euroleague in a final that took an unexpected turn. In the first quarter, Real Madrid deployed their offensive weapons and managed to score 36 points to Panathinaikos’ 25, appearing to control the game. In the second quarter, Panathinaikos reacted with excellent defense, cutting the lead to 5 points at halftime, with a score of 54-49.

In the third quarter, Panathinaikos’ passion and effective defensive formation, along with clear-headed play, limited Real Madrid to just 7 points for the entire quarter. This defensive effort paved the way for Panathinaikos to capitalize on their opportunities and increase the lead in their favor.

Outstanding for the Greens was team captain K. Sloukas, who scored 24 points, dished out 3 assists, and grabbed 2 rebounds.
