Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv’s Wade Baldwin IV to Miss Game 3 Against Panathinaikos: Injury Update.

As the series stands at 1-1, Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv faces a setback as their star player, Wade Baldwin IV, is set to miss Game 3 against Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens.

According to recent reports, Baldwin’s participation in Game 3 is unlikely due to a hamstring injury sustained during Game 1. Additionally, his availability for Game 4 remains in doubt as well.

The 28-year-old shooting guard suffered a hamstring injury during Maccabi’s surprising victory in Athens, forcing him to sit out Game 2 after a diagnosis revealed a small muscle tear.

Seeking treatment, Baldwin has traveled to Croatia and is expected to rejoin the team on Monday, as announced by the club.

In Game 1, Baldwin showcased his prowess with 15 points and 7 assists. With impressive season averages of 17.9 points (ranking 3rd in EL), 2.6 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game, he has been a key contender for MVP, boasting a PIR of 19.6 (also ranking 3rd in EL).

Game 3 is slated for Tuesday, April 30th, at 17:00 UTC in the Aleksandar Nikolic Hall in Belgrade, Serbia. Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv will have to navigate this crucial matchup without their standout player, Wade Baldwin IV.
