Damien Inglis Parts Ways with Valencia Basket.

Damien Inglis will not continue his career in Valencia after the Spanish team chose not to exercise the renewal option in his contract.

Despite having a contract for the upcoming year, Damien Inglis is departing from Valencia Basket. The club had the option to opt out of the contract following Inglis’ first season and decided to do so, officially announcing their separation.

Performance in the EuroLeague and Liga Endesa.

Inglis participated in 23 games with Valencia in the EuroLeague, where he averaged 8.2 points and 4.7 rebounds per game, achieving a 9.6 PIR (Performance Index Rating). His performance in the Spanish Liga Endesa (ACB) was comparable, with averages of 7.4 points and 5.1 rebounds, resulting in a 9.7 PIR.

Season Highlights and Team Performance.

The 29-year-old’s standout game this season was against Anadolu Efes, where he recorded a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds, achieving a 28 PIR. Valencia ended the EuroLeague season in 13th place, with a record of 14 wins and 20 losses.

In the ACB, Valencia finished the regular season in 4th place but were eliminated in the quarter-finals by Murcia, who went on to defeat Malaga to reach the Finals.
