Anatolou Efes: Turks Offer Big Two-Year Contract to Vincent Poirier, Real Madrid Focused on Eddie Tavares’ Renewal.

Vincent Poirier finds himself with a significant offer from Anadolu Efes, with Real Madrid prioritizing the contract renewal of Eddie Tavares, as reported by Encestando.

Anadolu Efes is gearing up for a major overhaul of their roster for the upcoming season, with the Turkish side actively engaging in the transfer market.

According to the Spanish outlet Encestando, Mijatovic’s team has presented an enticing financial proposal for a two-year contract to Vincent Poirier, aiming to finalize negotiations with the French center in the near future.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid seems to have shifted focus away from Poirier’s contract renewal, opting not to offer him a salary increase to retain his services in Spain and at the WiZink Center.

Instead, Madrid is fully committed to extending Eddie Tavares’ tenure and is strategizing to allocate funds for their primary objective of the summer, as detailed by the same publication.

Vincent Poirier has been averaging 8.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 0.6 assists, 1.5 blocks, and 0.4 steals per game in 18 minutes and 26 seconds across 35 EuroLeague appearances this season. On the other hand, the center from Cape Verde has recorded 9.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game in 22 minutes and 56 seconds over 31 matches in the competition.
